Today’s best advice comes from a 99 year old sweet …cute..adorable… lady with Popsicle red rouge on her cheeks. Well she often throws things but was sort of sweet today. As clear as she could be, she stood during class and said, ” if you put the worlds problems into a huge pile and added yours, you would definitely pick out your problems instead of everyone elses.” Knowone in this place has any problems. Besides we have lived here a long time without smelling? I could not have said it better myself. These wise elders have a lot of life lessons to teach me every week. Best advice given to E. was; - ” give up your car…today…and don’t let me catch you driving again.” And so she donated her car to her grand daughter who didn’t have any wheels and appreciated the gesture a lot.
Yesterdays blessings go out to CANDY. Well she kept spelling that over and over again to me. Then she started singing it. The problem was I didn’t bring her any. As a matter of fact for the past three years that I have been visiting this facility I have not due to her health condition’s. Well she said, CANDY….lalalala…Candy and I said, ” I did not bring any sweets today.. she replied, ” well then, you might as well leave this place.” And so on that sweet note I did. Bye, bye now Candy.
